1st Edition off the Romanian Darts Festival was a success. Over 260 men and 60 ladies played in both BDO and WDF ranked international tournaments, playing for points and for 12500 euro prize money.

Jamie Hughes retained his Romanian Classic title and won 1500 euro winners prize, as he defeated Alan Bell 6-1 in Sunday’s final, topped off with a fabulous 106.17 average. The ladies final of the Romanian Classic 2016 went down to a deciding leg between Anette Tillbom and Hana Belobradkova – the Swede held her nerve for a 5-4 win and the 200 euro winners prize. Rachel Brooks defeated Marjolein Noijens 5-3 in the final of the Romanian International Open 2016, seeing her also claim a 200 euro prize, while Fabian Roosenbrand won 1,400 euro as he beat Scott Baker 6-3 in the men’s final.
